How about baking a red velvet cake for Christmas this year for your loved ones?
I don’t think there is any cake that goes well with Christmas like red velvet cake.
The colors are gorgeous and the taste is really good too.
There are many recipes to achieve red color...
This time I made it with ordinary ingredients.
And to achieve an attractive red color, please use natural cocoa powder that has not been Dutch-processed. (Hershey's Cocoa Powder)
Dutch processed cocoa powder is very dark in color, so bright red colors are not suitable.
(Alkali-treated Valrhona cocoa powder only has a dark red color.)
I wanted a bright red color, so I used Hershey's and was able to get a red color with just a small amount of pigment.
The frosting used for the red velvet cake is American Buttercream.
However, we made it with a more special flavor, so please check it out in the video.
I also make mistakes while filming videos.
