Ingredients:
For the Cake Base
1 store-bought chocolate loaf cake (280-300g)
For the Chocolate Fudge Filling
3/4 cup (110g) Dark chocolate (65–70% cocoa solids)*
1/2 cup (150g) Sweetened condensed milk (room temperature)
*Note: Since this recipe already includes sweetened condensed milk, using chocolate with 65 - 70% cocoa solids helps balance the sweetness and gives the filling a firmer texture. Milk chocolate will result in a filling that is too soft and overly sweet.
For the Chocolate Cake Balls
Cake scraps (removed from the center of the cake)
1 to 2 Tbsp of the chocolate chocolate filling
1 Tbsp of Powdered sugar
1 Tbsp of Unsweetened cocoa powder
For the Ganache Topping
3/4 cup (110g) Dark chocolate
2 to 3 Tbsp of Milk (room temperature)
1/4 cup of cookies (without filling), chopped into small pieces
